Jessica Powell is not your average lawyer. She started working at age 14 and was living on her own by age 16. She put herself through college, graduating with honors, and then went to work for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Department of Disability Services, which processed disability claims for the Social Security Administration. While working there, Jessica decided to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. Accordingly, she went to law school, while still working full time, and graduated first in her class. After graduating law school, Jessica worked as a staff attorney for a state court judge and then at a national law firm that focused on cases involving bad prescription medications and medical devices, medical malpractice, and the negligence of others. There, she worked on cases against the some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Jessica joined Kruger & Hodges to focus on being a hometown lawyer, helping injured people right here in Ohio. With her experience, she brings a strong work ethic, formidable legal skills, and, above all, compassion to Kruger & Hodge’s clients.
Jessica is a tri-state native who currently resides in Adams County, Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, raising chickens, cooking, and spending time with her family, which includes two rescued basset hounds.
