Scott Kruger is a personal injury attorney at Kruger & Hodges Hometown Injury Lawyers and a lifelong Hamilton, Ohio resident. Scott earned his law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He has extensive experience in both criminal defense and personal injury law, having successfully handled cases ranging from serious felonies to automobile accidents, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death claims. Scott serves on the boards of the Hamilton City School District and Hamilton Community Foundation.
Scott was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio, and graduated Valedictorian of Hamilton High School in 1997. He was enrolled in the Honors Program at The Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude in 2001. Scott had the unique experiences of working as a Youth Corrections Officer at the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center and serving as a law clerk for a major personal injury firm in Cincinnati, Ohio all while attending law school at Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. Scott graduated in 2005 and gained valuable trial experience working for the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office before entering private practice. After winning his very first jury trial, Scott entered private practice in Hamilton, Ohio, in 2008.
Today, Scott focuses on personal injury law, representing victims of car accidents, trucking accidents, serious injuries, and wrongful death claims throughout Ohio. He has secured numerous settlements for injured clients and is known for his dedication to helping people navigate difficult times after an accident.
In addition to his law practice, Scott is an avid sports fan and a dedicated practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he holds the rank of purple belt and has placed as high as Bronze in international competition. Most importantly, Scott is a strong believer in giving back to his community. He is a board member of both the Hamilton City School District and the Hamilton Community Foundation. Scott is also a member of Hamilton Rotary Club and a chairperson for the Notary Commission of the Butler County Bar Association. Scott has also volunteered for Hand Me Down Dobes, Inc., a Doberman Pinscher rescue group. Scott continues to reside in Hamilton with his wife, Tara, their kiddos and their three dogs.
