Andrew Mick is a criminal defense attorney who represents individuals facing misdemeanor and felony charges throughout Southwest Ohio. Born and raised in Hamilton, he brings a deep understanding of the local courts and community to his practice.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio Dominican University, graduating magna cum laude in 2012. While in college, he was a member of the university’s football team and was recognized as an Academic All-American. During that time, he also worked in landscaping, security, and construction cleanup—experiences that continue to shape his practical, hard-working approach to representing clients.
Andrew went on to earn his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2017. During law school, he gained hands-on legal experience through internships with the Campbell County Public Defender’s Office, as well as clerkships with the Hamilton Municipal Court and the Butler County Common Pleas Court. He also interned with 3rd Street Law Offices, where he assisted in the defense of a capital murder case.
He began his legal career with the Butler County Public Defender’s Office, where he developed substantial courtroom experience representing clients in a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases. He also practiced as a solo attorney, handling criminal defense matters as well as juvenile cases, landlord-tenant disputes, evictions, and consumer law issues.
Today, Andrew focuses his practice on criminal defense and related matters. He is known for being thorough, prepared, and accessible to his clients. He understands that facing criminal charges can be overwhelming and works to provide clear guidance, honest advice, and strong advocacy at every stage of the case.
He lives in Hamilton with his wife, Kelly, and their two sons.
