Born and raised in Ohio, Kris Burgess believes that he is right where he belongs thriving and helping protect the rights of fellow Ohioans and visitors as well as making sure that these folks get valuable and personal legal representation. Kris went two colleges in three separate states in the Midwest and brings a lot of diverse life experience to his clients: from playing a rock show in a hole-in-the-wall bar until close, touring Japan for two weeks playing music, teaching math to high schoolers and elementary-age students, and being a part of some great teams in both the classroom and on the court and field.
This diverse experience has helped Kris successfully advocate for clients dealing with everything from a basic misdemeanor criminal charge to suing one of the largest auto manufacturers in the world. No matter the size of the case or the background of the client, Kris is ready to dive in and help with passionate and personal representation. Often times Kris’s practice has required him to stand up to difficult opponents and face difficult odds. But what he likes most about it is being able to ensure that his clients are not alone facing some of the most difficult situations they may ever encounter.
As an injury lawyer, Kris has helped families dealing with everything from minor inconveniences and damage to their property or automobile to families losing loved ones in tragic accidents. The moments where Kris is able to stand with people who have been harmed or wronged and make sure their voice is heard and their harm compensated: those are the moments that make all the hard work worth it. With the great team along side him at Kruger & Hodges, who he will be the first to tell you makes it possible to truly provide a great service to clients, Kris loves being a member of the Cincinnati legal professional community.
