Ben Gunderson is a resident of Hamilton, Ohio who at a young age became interested in local government from watching his father work in economic development. He also enjoyed playing the game Sim City as a kid which is a game where the player gets to build and develop a video game city.
He has pursued this interest by obtaining degrees and internships in economic development. For the last year and a half, Ben has worked in Camden, Ohio a small village in Preble County that is revitalizing its downtown strip. His position as Deputy Village Administrator has afforded him the opportunity to lead the charge of redeveloping old buildings in a small village that has challenges to development that larger towns may not.
